Asian Style Greenbeans

So this is my take on Asian style greenbeans...I snipped the ends of a pound of green beans..then i cleaned them..and i took a wok, added some seasame oil and garlic heated it up. then i took some crushed red pepper flakes, salt, pepper, and schwan (sic) sauce. I didn't blanch my green beans before hand, but you will probably want to considering they were extra crunchy still, but they were still tasty.

Nail of the day: The Sea's calling my name

My nails of the day are superrrrrrrrr pretty if you ask me :) haha
The finished nail: sorry it's not that great, but for some reason my ceiling fan works, but my light doesn't and the bulbs are new :/
I started with OPI's start to finish as a base
Then I used 'Beach Blue' M68 by santee as the base color

The bottom of the color i used
Over Beach Blue, I used 'Emerald' M22 on top for sparkle. I'm not sure why it's called emerald when it's blue glitter and emerald is usually green :?
 Bottom of the glitter

AND tadaaaaaaa I'm done :)

Team Organize

About a month ago I stopped at a yard sale and found a cool hanger...the lady whom I purchased it from for $1 informed me it was a tie hanger and asked what I would be using it for..I told her it would be the PERFECT hanger for my scarves..she said i was a genius! haha..i had been needing something for a while and wasn't sure what to use, but as soon as i this hanger I knew it had to be mine. it ended up being the only thing worth buying in that yard sale so i'm glad i stopped. I hung it up in my dress/pants closet.

Daily double dose of cucumbers

I have found myself obsessed with pinrtrest.com lately...my favorite is new recipes. So I found the recipe of 2 pretty tasty cucumber salads..I decided to make them both the same day, considering i needed mostly the same ingredients.

Cucumber Salad #1
Ingredients
Cucumbers ( i used 3 and split between the two)
1 sm onion
1 Cup vinegar
1/2 Cup water
1/4 Cup sugar ( i used less, but it tasted a bit too vinegary)
2 tablespoons FRESH dill
salt and pepper
Steps
1. Boil vinegar, water, and sugar (set aside to cool)
2. Slice and sweat cumcumbers
~to sweat means to liberally apply salt and allow water to drain..about 20 mins then rinse with water & dry
3. Put cucumbers, onions, and dill in a bowl
4. Add pepper ( you most likely won't need added salt bc the cucumbers still have a salty taste from sweating
5. Pour cool vinegar mixture over the cucumbers
5. Stir & marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hr.

Sweating the cucumbers

Onions, cucumbers, and dill in bowl
 With cooled mixture added
This salad sort of tasted like a sweet and sour pickle

Ingredients
Cucumbers
1/2 Cup low-fat sour cream (or any of your choosing)
2 Tablespoons FRESH lemon juice
2 Tablespoons FRESH dill
Coarse salt and pepper
Steps
1. Combine sour cream, lemon juice, & dill w/salt and pepper in a bowl, whisk well to combine
2. Sweat & drain cucumbers
3. Add cucumbers, toss well to coat.
4. Garnish with more dill, refrigerate for up to 4 hours then serve ( i didn't do that) i mixed, served, and ate!
I give this salad 5 thumbs up!! It was my most favorite of the two.
